Road Trip Day 2

We were up early, showered and dressed and headed, there were blueberry muffins and fruit downstairs for breakfast, Ron loaded up his truck with the bikes and we headed off for our day of adventure. We started with a short ferry trip to Coronado, it was such a beautiful still warm day and there were just gorgeous scenic views from the ferry. Biking with no helmets and riding on the wrong side of the road was fun! We headed for the beach, then walked along the beach before heading into Coronado Hotel, which was huge, and built in in the 1800's. the lobby was still all decked out for Xmas, so pretty.

Another walk along the beach, lunch and back to the main land.

We had a lovely family tea, Hawaiian chicken, salads, green bean casserole ( a Thanksgiving tradition), cream cheese wontons and amazing desserts, including one that tastes like Reeses Pieces- made by Tami ( Chrissi's sister), Tami, Dan and their family came over, such fun!
